The Disabled Sailors Association – Summer 2022 Beneficiary

Our aim is to ensure that every disabled person, irrespective of their disabilities and no matter how complex their needs, to actively sail our specially adapted boats.

The grant was kindly awarded to us to cover our sail training scheme where young people can improve and hone their skills and work towards Royal Yacht Association qualifications. Recognised worldwide, RYA qualifications boost the self-confidence and esteem of our sailors and, in some cases, can lead to job opportunities, which is truly life-changing for our sailors. Without the assistance of generous charitable trusts and foundations like the Gisela Graham Foundation, none of this would be possible, so we are extremely grateful for their support and assistance.
